Silicon steel is an alloy, adding a small amount of silicon in pure iron (generally below 4.5%) the formation of iron-silicon alloy known as silicon steel, this type of core has the highest saturation magnetic induction strength value of 20,000 gauss,due to their better magnetoelectric properties, but also easy to mass-produce, inexpensive, the impact of mechanical stress and other advantages.

In the frequency of use, commonly used strip thickness of 0.2 ~ 0.35 mm; in the use of 400Hz, often choose 0.1 mm thickness is appropriate. The thinner the thickness, the higher the price.
