Knowledge Introduction Of Corrugated Galvanized Steel Sheet

Corrugated galvanized steel sheet refers to a steel sheet that is galvanized on the surface. Galvanizing is a cost-effective method of corrosion protection that is often used. This process uses about half of the world's zinc production.

1. Function

Corrugated galvanized steel sheet is to prevent corrosion of the steel surface and prolong its service life. The surface of the steel plate is coated with a layer of metallic zinc.

Classification

According to production and processing methods, it can be divided into the following categories:

①corrugated galvanized steel sheet. The steel sheet is dipped into a bath of molten zinc, thereby adhering the steel sheet with the zinc layer to the surface. At present, it mainly adopts the continuous galvanizing process, that is, the coiled steel plate is continuously immersed in a galvanizing tank and made into a galvanized steel plate together with molten zinc.

②Alloy corrugated galvanized steel sheet. This steel sheet is also made by hot-dipping, but immediately after being discharged from the can, it is heated to about 500°C to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. The galvanized sheet has good paint adhesion and weldability;

③ Electroplating corrugated galvanized steel sheet. The galvanized steel sheet produced by the electroplating method has good workability. However, the coating is thinner and the corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot-dip galvanized sheet.

④Single-sided and double-sided difference corrugated galvanized steel sheet. Single-sided galvanized steel is a product that is galvanized on one side only. In welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, processing, etc., it has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet. In order to overcome the disadvantage that one side is not galvanized, the other side of another galvanized sheet is coated with a thin layer of zinc, that is, a double-sided differential galvanized sheet.

⑤ Alloy and composite corrugated galvanized steel sheet. It is a steel sheet made of zinc and other metals such as lead and zinc alloys or even composite coatings. This kind of steel plate not only has excellent anti-rust performance, but also has good coating performance.
