Silicon steel is a kind of extremely low carbon ferrosilicon alloy material with silicon content of 0.5%-4.5%, which has the characteristics of high magnetic permeability, low coercivity and large resistivity, and is widely used in the manufacture of generators, motors, transformers, transformers and other equipment.
According to the different production processes, silicon steel is divided into hot-rolled silicon steel and cold-rolled silicon steel, cold-rolled sheet thickness is uniform, surface quality is good, high magnetism, performance is better than hot-rolled sheet, therefore, hot-rolled sheet is facing the trend of being gradually eliminated by cold-rolled sheet.
Cold-rolled silicon steel is divided into oriented silicon steel and non-oriented silicon steel according to the internal grain orientation. The grains of oriented silicon steel are basically in one direction, with high silicon content, which is mainly used for transformer manufacturing; Non-oriented silicon steel grain distribution is disorganized, with low silicon content, mainly used in motor manufacturing.
