GNEE Steel Oriented Silicon Steel in Power Transformer
If the dry-type transformer heats up to a certain extent, the dry-type transformer will catch fire and explode. When the dry-type transformer is heated to a certain extent, ventilation shall be carried out. How is the ventilation calculated?
Let's take a look at the relevant calculation of ventilation of dry-type transformer: heating capacity basis of dry-type transformer=no-load loss+load loss
No load loss: when the secondary winding of dry-type transformer is in open circuit and the rated voltage of sinusoidal waveform with rated frequency is applied to the primary winding, the active power consumed is called no-load loss.
Load loss: namely variable loss. It is proportional to the square of the current passing through it. Load capacity loss is the load material loss under rated current and reference different temperature. To expand, the so-called basic rated working current refers to that the tap position of the primary side must be the main tap, not the rated voltage and current of other taps. For reference to different temperatures, generally speaking, the heat resistance grade of insulation structure materials of dry-type transformers shall be considered. For oil immersed transformers, no matter self cooling, air cooling or forced oil air cooling, they are all Class A insulation materials, and their reference temperature is specified according to the traditional concept, which is 75 ℃.
The above are common dry type transformer ventilation related calculations and main calculation methods for your reference.
