1. Hot rolling and cold rolling
Silicon steel sheet can be obtained by hot rolling or cold rolling, but hot rolling energy consumption is serious, pollution of the environment, and the performance is not as good as cold rolling, now basically cold rolling.
2. Thickness
The motor is usually 0.35mm, 0.5mm
3. Brand number
100 times the thickness value + 100 times the iron loss (1.5T iron loss per unit weight at a frequency of 50HZ and a sinusoidal waveform). For example, 50W470 indicates a cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel with an iron loss of 4.7w/kg and a thickness of 0.5mm.
High grade refers to low iron loss, low grade refers to high iron loss.
4. Lamination coefficient
Lamination coefficient reflects the volume of the effective core in the unit volume of the motor and transformer core, lamination coefficient is related to the thickness of the steel plate and the thickness of the coating, it is important to be related to the shape of the plate, that is, in the unit volume of the motor and transformer, in addition to the core (effective part), there are coating and air gaps, the larger the lamination coefficient, the better. Non-oriented electrical steel can generally reach more than 98%, and oriented silicon steel can generally reach more than 97%.

5. Film penetration
Electrical steel is widely used in the manufacture of motors, which require punching, non-oriented electrical steel generally needs to repair the die when the punching burr is greater than 50um, and the punching frequency between two mold repairs is used to measure the punching performance of electrical steel materials, that is, a good coating should be as many punching times as possible, less mold repair, punching property is related to the mechanical properties of the material, but also related to the type of coating. For example, the punching times of non-oriented electrical steel A coating are about 1 million times.
