How to distinguish between hot rolling and cold rolling of silicon steel sheet?
Hot rolling mainly uses slab as raw material, and after heating, steel is produced by roughing mill and finishing mill. The hot rolled strip steel from the finishing mill is cooled to the set temperature by laminar flow, from the coiler to the strip roll, after cooling to the strip roll, according to the user's requirements through different finishing lines to become steel plate, flat roll and longitudinal strip steel products.

Cold rolling takes hot rolled steel coil as raw material. After pickling, the oxide skin is removed and then cold rolling is carried out. The finished product is rolled hard coil. Due to the cold hardening caused by continuous cold deformation, the strength and hardness of rolling rise, the toughness index decreases, and the stamping performance deteriorates, which can only be used for simple deformed parts. Rolling hard rolls are commonly used to make products that do not require bending or stretching, with a thickness of less than 1.0 on both sides or on all sides.
