Products Description
Dry-type distribution transformers use insulating materials to encase the coils, eliminating the need for oil immersion. They are fire-resistant and environmentally friendly, widely used in indoor places such as shopping malls and hospitals. Cooling methods are typically natural air cooling or forced air cooling, with capacity ranges generally from 50 to 2500 kVA. Compared to oil-immersed transformers, dry-type transformers are easier to maintain but have relatively limited temperature rise and overload capacity.

Dry-type Power Transformer Main Functions and Characteristics
Low losses
According to the current national standard GB/T20052-2020 "Technical Parameters and Requirements for Three-phase Oil-immersed Power Transformers", with capacities ranging from 30~1600kVA, the no-load losses of dry-type distribution transformers have decreased by an average of 50% or 30%, and load losses have decreased by an average of 30% or 25%.
Low no-load current
Due to the excellent quality of the core material and winding processing features, the no-load current is significantly reduced. According to the current national standard GB/T20052-2020, the no-load current of power transformers has decreased on average by 75%.
Low operating noise

Strong short-circuit resistance capability
The transformer body forms a three-dimensional triangular prism shape, with pull bolts installed around all sides. Together with the insulation and laminated wooden blocks of the upper and lower iron yokes, they form a single unit that can effectively resist axial and lateral mechanical stresses during sudden short circuits.
