Hot-rolled silicon steel are made by melting Fe-Si alloy in open furnaces and electric furnaces, repeatedly hot-rolling into , and finally annealing at 800-850°C. Hot-rolled silicon steel are mainly used in the manufacture of generators, so they are also called hot-rolled motor silicon steel . However, the utilization rate is low and the energy loss is large. Cold rolled non-oriented silicon steel
The main use of cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel is for generator manufacturing, so it is also called cold-rolled motor silicon steel. Its silicon content is 0.5% to 3.0% and is supplied as 0.35mm and 0.5mm thick steel strips after cold rolling to finished thickness. The Bs of cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel is higher than that of oriented silicon steel. Compared with hot-rolled silicon steel, its thickness is uniform, its size is high, and its surface is smooth and smooth, thereby improving the filling factor and magnetic energy of the material.
