Installation and Commissioning Precautions Environmental Requirements of the 6kV Oil Type Power Transformer
• Install the oil type power transformer in a well-ventilated area, away from fire sources, corrosive gases, and strong vibration. Avoid direct sunlight or rain (use a protective enclosure or install indoors).
• Ensure a flat and stable foundation with a slope ≤1% to maintain power oil transformer stability.
• Leave sufficient space for maintenance (≥1.5m from the roof, ≥0.8m from walls).
Oil Management
• Check the 6kV oil type power transformer's insulation oil grade (e.g., DB-25, DB-45), quality (water content ≤30ppm, breakdown voltage ≥35kV), and avoid mixing different oil types.
• Degas thoroughly during oil filling (open vent valves until oil flows steadily without bubbles) to prevent internal partial discharge.
Electrical Connections
• Use insulated bushings for high/low voltage leads, ensuring good contact and reliable insulation. Avoid mechanical stress from over-tightening or loose connections.
