The meaning of the Dyn11 power supply distribution transformer

Delta connection
"D" indicates that the primary winding is in delta connection. In this connection mode, the primary winding forms a closed triangular loop, and the phase voltage is equal to the line voltage. It is applicable in some occasions that require a high voltage insulation level and a low zero-sequence impedance.
Star connection
"y" indicates that the secondary winding is in star connection, and the neutral point is drawn out. The star-connected secondary winding can provide a three-phase four-wire output, which is convenient for supplying power to loads with different phase voltages. At the same time, drawing out the neutral point is beneficial for realizing functions such as ground protection.
Winding by 30°
"11" indicates that the line voltage of the secondary winding leads the line voltage of the primary winding by 30°. The number "11" is obtained according to the clock representation method. Take the primary line voltage vector as the hour hand of the clock, which is fixed to point to the 12 o'clock direction, and the secondary line voltage vector as the minute hand. The number of the point it points to is the connection group label of the winding.
