Product Description
The eddy current loss of a amorphous core distribution transformer is directly proportional to the thickness of the core material and inversely proportional to its resistivity. Meanwhile, the hysteresis loss is proportional to the area enclosed by the hysteresis loop. The amorphous alloy strip features a significantly reduced thickness, and its resistivity is approximately three times that of a cold - rolled silicon steel sheet. As a result, an iron core fabricated from amorphous alloy exhibits far lower eddy current losses compared to one made of cold - rolled silicon steel sheet.
